We act for some lending institutions including a major contributory mortgage lenders. We attend to the preparation and registration of the lenders security documents normally at the cost of the borrower together with all attendances in relation to the loan advance.

In other cases we act for our property developer clients with their finance requirements. Many such loans are multi million dollar advances particularly in the high rise construction sector. In some cases close working relationships and trust exist between the mortgagee and the borrowers lawyers and the relationships we enjoy can essentially facilitate rapid draw down of project funding.

In the property sector the firm has acted on several hundred million dollars of loan advances and also enjoys an excellent working relationship with all of the trading banks and some second tier funders. From time to time we also represent private funders with their security and funding requirements. The firm enjoys good relationships with a couple of the larger foreign exchange companies operating in New Zealand.
